Status of Rehabilitation Benefits for Industrial Accident Patients Using Public Big Data

Abstract
|
|
|
Objective : In order to find out the status of rehabilitation treatment for industrial accident patients using big data, we would like to analyze the insurance data.
Methods : By extracting public data, SAS Version 9.4 analyzes the ratio of insurance benefits related to rehabilitation treatment, the approval ratio of industrial patients, the designated ratio of industrial patients by disease, the period of hospitalization, and the details of hospitalization.
Results : Due to the increase in industrial accident patients, the amount of insurance benefits increased by 1.5 times compared to 2016. Medical care benefits increased 1.5 times, disability benefits 1.2 times, and rehabilitation benefits 1.5 times. In the statistical classification by disease of industrial accident patients, 78.1% of them were diagnosed with the nervous system and musculoskeletal system. The number of patients treated at industrial accident hospitals was similar, and the number of long-term inpatients was high.
Conclusion : Considering the proportion of industrial patients by disease, there are many patients in the musculoskeletal system and nervous system, it is thought that rehabilitation for industrial patients will be more required, and studies should be expanded. There are many patients who need long-term rehabilitation due to physical damage, and it is hoped that industrial hospitals will play a central role in rehabilitation for this purpose.
